Around a peaceful park set in its historic neighbourhood, Burtons’ St Leonards has picturesque sea views and necessarily a 1:5 gradient.
Circular, for a total of 90 minutes, please self assess whether you can manage safely on public pavements up a 1:5 gradient for 45 minutes of walking (plus breathing spots!) Dogs on leads, 1 adult per 2 children, take care near bends on historic roads.
For a shorter route, leave at Tollgate, at the top of Maze Hill (tea optional and near transport), or go on further: the circular route ends by Royal Victoria Hotel (retail & transport options)
