The talk will begin at 3pm sharp on Sunday, May 11th, 2025, at Crown House, 60 Marina, Saint Leonards-on-sea TN38 0BE. Members free entry, non members £5 entry. An illustrated talk by Ray McChrystal on ‘Gum Pigment and Paper: A History of the British Watercolour (with Scenes of Burtons St Leonards)’.

Ray, a practising watercolourist, took an MA in Paper Conservation at Camberwell College in 2005 and has been an independent paper restorer since 2007, specialising in watercolours, prints and posters.
